She earned her Master of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University\, building a career grounded in clinical excellence\, community care\, and a deep commitment to helping others. \nDr. Blackshear’s work is rooted in cultural humility\, evidence-based practice\, and a strong belief that she was born to walk alongside people through difficult seasons. She has served diverse populations\, including adolescents\, young adults\, families\, and older adults\, and is known for creating a safe\, compassionate space where people can heal\, grow\, and rediscover their strength. \nIn addition to her professional work\, Dr. Blackshear is active in her church and enjoys developing curriculum for children’s ministry. Her passion for service extends beyond the workplace into every area of her life\, reflecting her desire to pour fully into others.
